Booo….Dame's not 2018 Kahwi, you're gutting the team's depth which was important in the title run, and you're bailing on Scotty too soon
If I ignore my bias for Scottie, trading him for any aging star at this point would be a horrible idea. Team is still lacking shooting and bench depth. People don't realize but Scottie is only making around 8 mil so another starter and 1 or 2 more fillers would have to be thrown in to come close to matching salary. Not to mention the already abysmal depth would get even worse. It's not like we are in a Kawhi situation either. Kyle and Demar 5 years prior to the championship season had 48-59wins building the team every season. Lowest seeding was 4th and even managing to get the 1st seed once. In the Pascal and Fred era so far, we got 27(Tampa), 48, and a 41 win season so far and we lost Fred for nothing in the process. This is not the time to go all in. It would be like the Pacers and Hawks making moves to go all in. The teams not ready. It becomes even clearer when you look at the actual contenders and realize that this team is nowhere near.
