The REAL REASON Why The Warriors Signed Dario Saric

The Warriors finally sign a veteran big man, but is this the big man they need? What does he bring to the Warriors and can it lead to a championship? Tough to say, but one things for sure, there are still a couple of pieces missing.

  1. 4:55 Damn, brilliant pass. Cant wait to see stuff like that from CP 3 in a Warriors' uniform! 🎉🥳🔥🔥

  2. Saric can also play 4, as a substitute for Draymond and Kuminga. So, Warriors dont need another PF. Warriors need one more center, Howard or McGee

  3. I like Saric and he's a player they have been after for a while. But let's not over react here, at his absolute best he'll give them something approximating what Beli did in 22. That would be really valuable but he won't make or break their chances of a deep playoff run.

The major questions are how much will Dray and Klay contribute to winning this season? Will Dray's defensive impact be enough to compensate for him being a black hole on offense? Will Klay's defensive liabilities be too much for his streaky shooting to overcome?
CP3, will he be happy with a bench role and will Kerr let him run plenty of pick and roll? Will he be injured or even traded by the deadline?
How many consistent minutes will Kuminga and Moody get?
Finally what version of Wiggins will we get, close to 22 finals run or something more like last season where even when he was healthy he never really got going like you would hope.
The team is quickly running out of scapegoats at this point.

  4. Swish Swish Swish, what did I tell you about Jordan Poole? I've been waiting on you since the season ended. We truly need to talk outside of social media. As for the Chris Paul acquisition, it's smart from a financial aspect, his money falls off the books after the 2024 season, but I hope his minutes are limited to about 25 per game. It seems none of the teams were strong enough to stand up to him and limit his minutes, making him prone to injuries, as we saw this with LeBron James. It's simply not meant for guys 16 and 17 years into their careers playing 30 minutes a game, it's not smart managing. Rumor has them re acquiring Javale McGee.

  5. I’m really warming up to the Chris Paul pickup, especially considering the different lineups he’ll be in. I like seeing him and Saric with any combo of players, it’s a new look for sure

  6. It’s a good sign he’s playing the Belly role that Chris Paul sign is still absolutely brain dead, though

  7. I think the Warriors should bring onto the team their draft pick Gui Santos, a 6’8” wing who showed improvement in the summer league.

  8. Would still like to see them sign a wing like Oubre, or another center who’s over 6 10’. CP3 will cement his legacy this year with a title win. The warriors have depth across the board besides Center.
This will allow CP3 to rest and preserve himself in ways he’s never been able to.
*I’ve read Otto Porter might be released, also think Howard could fill a 3rd string bench role. they have 2 two way contracts after Quinones took one to hand out so perry would make sense on one of those*

  9. I don't get the depth issue at the 4. The Dubs have a versatile collection of front court players. If Draymond goes down, either JK or Saric can play the 4 with Jackson-Davis filling in as Loon's backup. In a pinch, move Wiggs to the 4, Klay to SF and CP3 or Moody at guard with Steph. Also, don't sleep on Podz. I have a feeling that he will be better than many expect.

  10. As a Sixers fan i liked Saric but he didnt live up to his potential which we thought was going to be a Lamar Odom type player, and i was mad at the time and still cant believe we took him over Lavine.
With that said hes a great fit for Dubs as he's basically like a Dollar General version of Draymond
