  1. Fans in Serbia are very pissed about this…Djokovic is more respected due to things like this.

  2. Jokic is sadly a disgrace. I will not follow him next year. I hope him and Denver collapse. No patriotic gene in that guy. Second time in his career he is letting us down.

  3. Unfortunately, Jokic will never get another ring….basketball Gods will make sure of it😔

  4. Serbian basketball fans really are some of the worst on earth despite how awesome many of their players are. Entitled babies who expect Jokic to play for them for pennies 😂

  5. The stars are treated differently, they make more money, just like in every other occupation…

  6. From Serbia: It's fine. Tired, risk of injury, big money involved so are the responsibilities, all understandable.

  7. Serbia and national team is like Colorado and Nuggets. That is about right perspective.

  8. Don't forget that he played last year and has had a very injured wrist ever since. Playing this Summer just may cause the injury to end his career early. He IS hurt.

  9. Jokic just isn't that guy. I mean it's okay. We kind off mostly made our peace with it in years passed, so I don't think he will be under that much criticism as last time. But also there will always be an asterisk attached to his name, like he was the best Serbian basketball player ever, but when it came to national team he wasn't that in to it. And another thing is that he kind off made it acceptable to reject the national team, few years back it was unheard of that a healthy player won't play for Serbia and now it happens more and more…

But in the end of the day, it's his life, all the best to him, and in the end to paraphrase serbian proverb who isn't there, you can do without him. There is still a lot of good and talented players, finally Bogdan is there with some young gunns like Jovic, Pokusevski, Petrusev, maybe even Topic, so we will see, those guys will certainly give their everything so I am looking forward to watching the World Cup…
