1. This contract is based on salary cap and TEAM REVENUE. In other words, the teams are making A LOT of money. 2. Jaylen Brown is 26. He just finished a season in which he averaged 26 pts. He is a good 3 pt shooter, good defender, can hit his ft's, can rebound, and very athletic, 3. 3. He is brings zero off the court issues. He is great for the city of Boston, the country, and internationally. 4. At 26 he has been to the playoffs in each of his 7 yrs in the league, has made it to the ECF 4x times and once to the finals. THIS IS A PLAYER THAT HAS NOT REACHED HIS PRIME. Imagine between 28-30. He will be an all star every year and might even reach 1st team all nba. How many other players have his resume? not that many. Lastly, keep in mind that making it to the 2nd all nba team means that you are in the second BEST lineup in a league with 30 teams that makes up a total of 150 starting lineups. That translates to him being a top 10 player in the NBA.

Remember when steph signed his new contract and became the first player to sign a 200 million dollars contract yeah now that contract ranks 19th in nba history in just 6 years. Some notable player to have earned a contract bigger than that are, rudy gobert, zach lavine, domantas sabonis, Bradley beal, Desmond bane, KAT, and in the next 5 year the 200+ million dollar contract will become similar to 100 million dollars contract from few years ago. Yeah let that sink in
