Feeling pretty good about our depth this season

Is it just me or are we in better shape than last season? CP3 is a huge stabilizer, Saric is likely going to be better than JMG and has experience playing with Wiggins and CP3 and we drafted a 4-year college all American big instead of a teenager. We have GP2 the whole season, we know Klay is back and moody and Kuminga are going to get a lot of minutes. We’re a little light in emergency 3-4 minutes(although we do have a lot of guys that can play multiple positions), but we could always give Gui Santos a 2-way or something similar for that.

  1. Chris Paul on the warriors still does not feel real.

Maybe we should sign another guard. Ya know, just to be safe

Oh the optimism of July! But yes, I agree it looks better than last year. And agree, closer to a whole year of GP2 and Wiggins will be big.

If health is on their side, the sky is the limit. That and Draymond not being a distraction 😬

Well… we gotta lotta guards. Not too much depth though. We’re gonna be down bad if we lose a SF, PF or C.

Need to sign a backup 3/4 but otherwise yeah

Big test for Kuminga it’s now or never

Moses Moody being our 2nd best small forward tells you everything you need to know about this team’s size. LOL

I really hope kerr plays that Bench unit as is. I think it will be really good if given time to coalesce under chris Paul’s leadership.

I hope we can go on a deep playoff run.

saric is closer to a 10m per like donte is so i am confident in him. watch him run PnR with cp3 on the suns — he is legit, legit legit. those are ball skills and he is a proven vet who has burned us. he is not jamychal green who needs to be set up for a spot up as much

    Moses played in the playoffs

Kuminga has shown in the regular season he has real productive skills

CP3 and GP2 are proven rock solid skill players

im hopeful trayce being 23 and older than wiseman now will translate to a solid 3rd big almost immediately

  12. Lester said he actually plays as 3&D wing, so maybe he can prolly be a SF, and Trayce can either be at PF/C. Then, maybe…just maybe…we can have another C like… Dwight Howard? 😅

We are playing incredibly small here. Moses is a SG, JK is a SF, Dario is probably better at PF, TJD is PF, Podz is PG, Lester could be PG or SG. We’re basically relying so much on small ball and I don’t think it’s going to work unless we get more stretch 4s, such as Bjelica in our 2022 championship season.

Pod and lester most likely wont see much playing time.

Just dawned on me for the first time that Moody (because you didn’t capitalize it) is also ‘moody’ like wavering moods. Our MM is the opposite of moody. Hope he is enough to back up Wiggs.

Little known fact: Cory Joseph (‘CoJo’) and his brother played youth bb in Toronto with Steph and Seth and Wiggs and his brother.

  16. The only way Podz gets more than token minutes is if we suffer multiple injuries

1 guy on the roster over 6’9, and he’s 6’10…

    Modern NBA positions:

Ball handler: Steph, CP3, CoJo, Podz

Wing: Klay, Wiggins, GP2, Moody, Kuminga, Quinones

    Big: Draymond, Looney, Saric, TJD

Really need a forward in the 14th spot. and our next 2 way needs to be a forward since we’re leaving the 15th spot empty again.

I’d like another 3/4. Too thin there.
