Seems like they see a rotation player in him with good upside since he got a Tre Jones type deal.
Yo what? Congrats to Sidy!! Almost everyone assumed he will be on 2-way.
He needs a ton of work on creating offense and his shooting but I think you have to love his defense, size, and passing ability/court vision. If he can develop his offensive game he is a starting PG.
I’m glad the Spurs liked him, I view him as a pop style of player.
His defense in SL got him that contract. He was locking dudes down. You can coach up his offense but D is hard to coach up because mentally some dudes don’t want to put in the effort
It’s been a long time since I felt this certain a 2nd rounder was going to be a GREAT nba player.
I’m incredibly optimistic about Sidy. At worst he’s a defensive player that can facilitate some. At best he can do a lot more.
