Ben Simmons is literally Draymond Green 5.0 but since he was a #1 draft pick and compared to Lebron ppl want him to be more than what he is. “He can’t shoot” so fucking what? Neither can half of the other players that are 6foot10+ …..and they can’t handle the ball, guard all 5 positions and be a facilitator like Ben can smh ppl just like to follow trends and hating on Ben Simmons is a fun trend rn 😂 ppl are fucking sheep 🙄
But if Ben went to a team that was better suited for him. Like a team that Giannis or Zion has. Play Ben at the 4 along side another big that can stretch the floor at the 5 . And have guys that can shoot and create their own shot at the 3 2and 1. And just let Ben play point forward.
Imagine Ben on the Pelicans instead of Zion. Or the Wolves instead or Gobert. Or better yet the Warriors.
Ben if healthy can easily average 20 10 and 10 on the right team

I think the one thing that’s a little inaccurate is the fact that Ben can’t play the sf or pf. Positionless matters more than you think. If a scoring guard is at the 1 it doesn’t matter ben Simmons still brings the ball up the court and plays the pg role. That’s what a point forward does. Lebron has done it his whole career. Hedo done it in Orlando. That’s just the position he might be at but not necessarily the role he’s playing. If the nets ends up with Tyler herro what do you think will happen? Ben will be at the 4 but still doing point guard duties. Herro will end up as a scorimg guard. Don’t get too caught up in positioning.

ben is only effective running the team as point guard or point forward cause of his passing ability and drive and kicks. he would just hand ball off with nets , he didnt drive enough or find open guys enough. he was scared to take one jumpshot.
