if you're not Jordan level, you can get better somehow
Sasha and Duarte are the biggest unknowns. Kevin Huerter, and especially Davion and Keegan are almost certain to be improved. Last season HB improved from a below average defender to above average so that shows that even vets like Fox, Sabonis, Lyles, and Len have some potential to be better this season.
At this stage, a lot of the improvement will come from the mental side of the game. We are talking about top tier athletes, so we know they have the physical attributes, but can they put those skills to use when and where it counts the most. That’s the question we won’t know until the season starts.
DeArron needs to be more aggressive in the 1st half. Part of it is due to coach Brown’s rotations and pulling him out so early in the 1st quarter. It’s looks hard for him to build a rhythm with the 1st half substitution patterns. Also needs to bring his 3 pt shooting up to at least a respectable 37%. His development of his 2 way ability will take his game to superstar level. I have no doubt Fox has the skill and natural talent to do so.
