Probably because it doesn’t make sense to hold on to him

We aren’t viewed highly right now due to the past 2 seasons so logically giving up the guy who put up numbers and is up for an extension is a conversation that’ll be had until pre season

If you trade demar, then do you blow the whole thing up? Or do you keep a piece like Zac to build around?

He’s already considered an aging player, and the Bulls arnt gonna be legit contenders with him. Him and Lavine were never a great fit together either. Ship him now while you can still get something for him.

I’m a Mavs fan and this doesn’t make any sense at all for us either. Why would we want to trade for Derozan? He’s a good player, but we already have enough scoring, we need defense and rebounding…
This article is just dumb and trying to get clicks during the offseason when nothing else is happening.

It’s the logical thing to do.

Dead part of the offseason on top of him being an expiring contract.

extremely funny to call “nba analysis network” the national media like they’re ESPN lol. this is mostly just bullshit aggregation of one comment from places that run a bunch of articles a day.

I don’t see what this team has done in the post season to make anyone think resigning him is a good idea
spicyfartz4yaman
It’s either go all in and he walks, trade him at the deadline or resign and stay where we are. Trading him sounds like the best option as much I love the guy

I’m in the minority but I like Demar on this team if he takes a team friendly contract. Homey can still ball and is obviously a great mentor. Zach is not that guy
