“He Faked Being Loyal…”
Is Damian Lillard been wrong for forcing the Trailblazers to work a deal with the Miami Heat, even if it isn’t what the Trailblazers want? Will the NBA veto a Damian Lillard Miami Heat trade because of his agent and his own statements?

  1. He wasted 11 years in a shitty organization even though he can accept better offers from a better team. How was that pretending to be loyal? you are being dumb again just like how you said Stephen Curry With 40-Inch Vertical.. So dumb.. "again" hahahah

  2. Mike Sthu, harden has done this for the past 2 season. But now If dame does it it will cause “HUGE ramifications for the entire league”. Also saying Portland has been loyal to him is bs. They didn’t even try to build a contender around him it was just him andcj

  3. Honestly this narrative is totally unfair for Dame. It's like treating your nice and loyal girlfriend like shit and saying she faked being loyal after she dumped you….

  4. As a Blazers fan, Stop. He's carried this team with McCollum and gave everything with what he had. The only time he popped a champagne bottle was with the USA Mens Team

  5. The amount of bias in this entire video. It’s very obvious this is a one sided bias video and not actually truthful and informative video. You can do so so much better than this! N

  6. Damian Isn’t that far out of line really. Many players in the past have refused to play with certain teams during trade talk. The Portland trailblazers failed Damian at the end of the day. Damian failed nobody really. If I was that good and pivotal of a basketball player on that team in that situation I’d probably do the same thing after 11 years. Damian is hungry for a championship and he is desperate, he should be. In my eyes he could have acted almost childish and some of it would be justified. He knows if he gets on the heat with jimmy and bam with the heats coach and with their last year’s playoff run, he knows if he gets on the heat their going to be a monster of a team. Damian lillards play style and position, literally is the missing piece for the Miami heat and as a basketball fan I really want to see jimmy butler and Damian lillard get ring together. They both are some of the most overshadowed and hated on players in nba history and it’d be great for the entire league if they got a ring together.

And it’s not unfair that the heat is so appealing for a star like Damian lillard when the heat have kept their coach for many years and have shown that they actually know how to build a team. Most teams don’t get attention like some because some teams are ran better, that’s obviously not always the case, the nuggets proved that

  7. KD & Kyrie atleast requesting trade in their last year of contract Beal & Dame requesting trade after they got the bag shows you they are pretending to be loyal. If you want out don't sign an extension the mere fact that they signed an extension shows how greedy they are and wants to secure the bag at the same time go to a championship team.

  8. If Dame would have left in free agency Portland would have lost Dame for nothing. At least Dame is giving Portland a chance to get something back in return. If Portland wanted such a big haul for Dame they should've traded him 5 years ago. As good as Dame is he is 33 years old and owed a ton of money. Their aren't alot of teams willing to mortgage their futures on a player that will be making $60 million at the age of 37. It obvious Miami has the best offer because they seem to have the only offer.

  9. I'm sorry if I'm going to sound disrespectful against some people's opinion, but here's mine. I think that almost everyone talking about this topic is being superficial and is not talking about what really could be the best for the Blazers and Dame. Yes, Portland OWES A LOT to Dame. In an Player empowerment era, they should be grateful that their player who is in the NBA 75 list was loyal to them, when they didn't do their job well for 11 years. Yes, they should trade Dame to Miami for several reasons, and most of them people aren't even realizing! First of all, it's the best thing for the business long term. The best thing the front office could do is admit they messed up their opportunity to win with Dame, but now they're willing to do whatever it takes to build a promissing team. Which start/future star would like to go or stay in Portland, when they just treated their biggest star like shit? Just THINK, why would Scoot, Shaedon or Ant be loyal to Portland when they're seeing what it leads to? The front office should tell Miami "Look, we both know that Dame is going to Miami, but we don't need a young guard like Herro, can yall find a team willing to send us a big/promissing big in exchange for Herro?" and then Dame would be happy and Portland would be more apealing to their young stars. I can't see why people are focusing on the wrong direction.

  10. I’m a Portland fan, we basically forced him out, and are now playing the victim it’s disgusting. This whole situation wouldn’t be happening tho if Jody Allen(terrible owner and terrible person) would sell the team to phil already

  11. "Loyalty" is a completely bullshit narrative not just in NBA but sports in general. Players have to be loyal but teams can refuse to resign or trade players away all the fucking time and no one brands them as "traitors"? Look at IT for example, he played with Boston whilst grieving the loss of his sister, what did Boston do that very off season? They traded him but that was called business. Look at Lou Williams, took an absolute joke of a contract with the Clippers to stay in LA, for the fans and he had family close by, they traded him to Atlanta. Players got to do what's best for them, their families, they finances, their career, fuck staying in some shit hole just because some 13 year old Virgin from Oregon will get pissy if you decide to leave.

  12. When you waste a hall of famers career you owe it to him to send him to his preferred destination. I don’t give a fuck what anyone has to say he gave them his best years and they failed him

  13. Niggas in the comments not even loyal to y’all friends/family and y’all talking about Damian 🦎

  14. Dame has been as loyal as a player can be. The media supporting Portland over a player is completely unshocking. Dame already said he liked the Heat and the Nets, and it is Portland’s job to find a third team.

  15. Goodwin says you are trading for unhappy player not dame will not play to other teams
Dame did not owe Portland cuz he deserves that extension based on his performance
Dames fed up of false promises of Portland regarding of building around him when he ask to trade the number 3 pick to get Draymond or PG-13
Hey the fourth deadly sin is ENVY

  16. Players don't have to be loyal to anyone if the mutual conditions are not met. How do you stay with a franchise that consistently breaks the agreements of building a contending team?

  17. Portland gave everything he wants he got the bag he deserved every request , he is loyal yes 100% he needs to think about portland future too …

  18. This video is a bit of an overreaction in my opinion. First of all, we were all begging Dame to demand a trade for yeas up until he finally did. Everyone knew Portland wasn't gonna build a contender around him, beyond that, they made him a lot of promises in the last 2 years which they didn't keep. Also, paying him a big contract isn't what I would consider loyalty. It's his compensation for doing his job. Great players get payed big money, simple as that. That said, Dame has been taking this whole "trade me to Miami and nowhere else" thing too far. And it does kinda set a bad precedent for the rest of the league. I think it would be one thing if it was just him, because he's been so loyal that fuck it bro, I think he deserves to finally be selfish for once. But that said, now players like Ben Simmons and James Harden are probably gonna be doing the same shit. I agree with what Austin Rivers said. Player empowerment is great an all, up to a certain point. But it's gone too far. Now every lottery pick coming into the league expects to be the main guy without having to earn shit. We have more players just out here playing for a pay check than ever. And the player empowerment movement has really only benefitted the top guys. Like Austin said, it feels like nowadays teams are constructed with guys who are either getting paid 50 million or 2 million.

  19. He's just learning from his idol Kobe. 😂 MAMBA MENTALITY 😂😂😂
Kobe wanted out too, except he somehow stayed and got titles.. hopefully this could happen to Dame too.

Maybe he's learning a bit from LeBron too except that dude always finish his contract before leaving.

'You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain…'

  20. the NBA is not in a good place right now…player empowerment has ruined a lot of teams…blazers need to do whats best for them no matter what team they trade Dame to…Dame signed the contract (a huge one)…honor it

  21. Maybe he never wanted to leave Portland but the way they handled the off-season and the constant mission failed seasons, sometimes you get tired…

  22. Lets be real, Portland wasnt gonna beat the warriors in 2019 no matter what he did

  23. I don’t get why NBA worried so much why not just void dame contract . Give him penalty then Portland release him . Whoever team sign him they should pay dame max contract supposedly to Portland . Then dame will just play for free to the team he like

  24. u r stupid if u think the trailblazers have been loyal to dame, he tanked for a pick they promised they would trade and they betrayed them
