I like this move.
I was hoping we signed Matthew Mayer TBH.
I actually wasn’t that impressed with Samuels. He was ok, certainly. Played very hard. But he was a little selfish and out of control out there.
Would have preferred Mayer tbh
I also thought Mayer looked higher potential and just a more dangerous option offensive wise. Just because Mayer doesn’t seems like he needs the ball much, and he has a nice quick release.
But my guess is they are going to dangle Tate as trade bait all year, and wanted someone to slot in for any injuries/when we trade him.
