Sorry about the Beavers and for any fan of the Pac-12 association. As an Oregon fan and "alum", I am devastated about the death of the Pac-12. Grew up watching both the Beavers and the Ducks. Some of my earliest memories in basketball was watching Gary Payton and then Brent Barry. You probably remember those Beaver teams with Corey Benjamin. Got to see them play UCLA twice when UCLA was loaded after the championship. Carson Cunningham, JB Bickerstaff, Charles O'Bannon, Toby Bailey, Cameron Dollar, Jelani McCoy, J.R. Henderson – and that was before I got to college. I was at the game in the cold rain in 2001 win Oregon beat OSU to go to the Fiesta. It's all gone. UCLA, USC – I hate them. It's all been a slow-motion accident. You see it coming from a mile away and still you can do nothing to stop it. Honestly, I think a good president would've stepped in and made it a national issue. It just goes to show you how corrupt our political leadership is. This is a cultural issue and any leader worth an ounce of humanity would've stepped in to stop it. Over 100 years of tradition and it's gone with no real debate.
