    You're going to be hearing Russell + Rui a lot next year I think. The reason being that those two contracts add up to $33 million and are kinda necessary to put together any trade for a 3rd star (toss in JHS or Vanderbilt and you've got $36.5-37.5).

    There will always be rumors about some star or another asking for a trade and having the Lakers on their list. So the fantasy Trade Machine deals will likely start with those two.

    Everything will come down to how this team performs during the season. I do think Vando gets moved. Lakers can’t pay him when that contract is up. He’s gonna get paid. Lot of teams want Vando.

    The only problem is the salaries are balance so big trade will entail more than one to be traded. Unless, they can get a player that is better than his salary. I hope they can get Christian wood for the 14th spot if the bulls don’t give him more money or get him.

    No matter what whether in the regular season or in the playoffs we badly need a solid C who can play along with AD and also capable of playing in absence of AD. I hope and pray that in any time of the season Myles Turner becomes available so we can trade D Lo, Vando and Schaffino for Turner.

    DLO + JHS + Vanderbilt for an A1 PG would be ideal. If the Lakers want to win now, they need top players. DLO is a good regular season player but mediocre when it matters the most: WCF. Besides, the Lakers were thinking of trading him when the contract was made.
    Vando is a good defender but poor on offence. I don’t see him hitting 35% from 3's. Not happening.
    I think the Lakers may have dropped the ball drafting JHS, a PG who can't shoot from anywhere on the court including the free throw line.

    Just as long as they don't go get a big name player that is washed up or who is injury prone, AD is enough for the medical staff to deal with.
