This deal makes too much sense. This gives us the size we have been missing from the 3 spot and more importantly I think pushing RJ back to the 2 would be most beneficial for him where he would have a physical advantage ver anyone guarding him at th 2. I think him bulking up to play the 3 slowed down his speed ( granted he isnt the most speedy player anyway).
A starting lineup:
– Brunson-RJ-OG-Randle-Mitch
Bench:
– DD-Grimes-Hart-Hartenstein
I know ppl might not be to crazy about lidig our best defensive player Grimes to the bench but I think moving him to the bench might be best for him to grow offensively as he would get more shots up in Non Randle and Brunson minutes and be more of a focal point on offense.
Also, getting OG would be great insurance if even after the year things dont go well the team can move off of RJ or Randle with a viable replacement

Quickly won’t ever start with Brunson here..and he due an extension…I would rather trade him because I think Grimes will be the superior player..
