Can’t wait for Curry haters to spin it as Curry sucks.
“Not even the best PG of his team.”
If I could ask Steve Kerr one question, I would ask why he named his son Nick. The media should do its job and get to the bottom of this.
Regular season maybe.. dude can’t make it to the playoffs
Is he gonna start? I don’t think he should but not sure he humble enough to accept the bench
also, he finds my jokes really funny
Too bad all their bigs (draymond, looney) are only capable of scoring 5 points on a good night down low at the basket. I don’t really think saric is a roll guy either. And kuminga is a good dunker, but I wouldn’t say he’s some amazing finisher, nor actually a big.
Yeah CP3 will help, but he’s not really got a prolific scoring big or lob threat to complement him.
He’ll still find open shooters and cutters though at least. But PnR is his bread and butter.
👀 does he stsrt
This can’t be the real reason. Poole was making winning plays as a playmaker for them /s
This is gonna be so bad
Ah yes, if there’s one thing the Warriors are known for it’s being short on offensive playmakers
More like they need financial flexibility after the upcoming season lol
I have a feeling the Warriors will have a rough season and end up in the play in.
“We needed a large contract to move at the deadline for better pieces. We can’t afford for anyone to just walk away”
They need someone to cut those huge leads down to 42
Genuinely happy about this move because it means CP won’t get a ring
I don’t quite get the ridicule for this move.
The warriors have consistently been bad with Curry on the bench for many years now. Having a good backup point guard to stabilize those lineups will go a long way.
To get a solid backup PG while salary dumping a bad contract (Poole) seems like decent value
I don’t really agree that adding another playmaker was what they needed but Kerr is probably smarter than me
Chris Paul was really like “How can I be an even more hated asshole?”
I still can’t believe people are hating on this move. CP3 is one of the best players of all time w one of the best basketball minds ever. I think a lot of y’all are gonna be shocked when he actually contributes to their season and how much he will elevate that team. Some of y’all might be too young to remember but during Jason Kidds last season in the league he played backup PG for the Knicks and just by his presence alone he was elevate the guys on the team and they were able to win 50 games (the only time they did that during the Melo years). I think CP will have a similar effect for GS this year (health permitting) and they will be a top seed in the west. He may be past his prime but if he’s able to play 15-20 minutes a night and be a steady player for them then that will be all they need from him.
Well it’ll be better than Poole running around for 30 minutes jacking 3s and playing turnstile defense
Do old people say I could use some more wrinkles?
Good vibes move too. didn’t have that last season. Steph gets to play with a friend and an early mentor. CP3 is injury prone but they have a really good medical staff too. They’re gonna be a tough out
Kerr elaborated, *we’re looking to expand our offense from ball kicking to cock punching.*
cp3 best chance at a ring atp
