    When Ewing was drafted.

His name was huge in sports news during his Georgetown days and then when the Knicks hit the lottery, we knew he was coming to NY….and he was all that from Day 1. Beast on both sides of the ball. Playoffs for a decade. Best Knick ever.

  2. My dad first, but Ewing, LJ, Starks, Spreewell. Basically 90s Knicks.

David lee bc im from STL. Then Jamal Crawford became my favorite player.

Surprised no one’s said Melo yet 🤨

    Bernard King.

Along with the rest of Hubie’s platoon squads, it was amazing how much enjoyment a losing team could deliver.

Then they actually got good and his playoff performances were simply legendary.

    J.R. Smith

Loved playing with him, Shump, Melo, and Stat in NBA 2k which made me start liking basketball in general.

  7. Emotional-Winter-875

Walt Frazier as an announcer. Crawford, Melo

  8. lancelinksecretchimp

Ewing, Starks, Oak, Mase…in that order.

  9. sidewink10

I remember Sprewell the most when watching around the 90s with my dad, but I started really becoming a fan in 2010 with Amare

Mark Jackson. Loved his game. Flashy for era

  14. GanjeWest

LJ. He was my childhood favorite thanks to Grandmama commercials and NBA Jam.

  16. Amare. Like I was a ā€œfanā€ in the sense I liked basketball a little bit but didn’t watch it super often. No immediately local team so I didn’t have a particular interest.

Then Amare came and up in Buffalo we got MSG, and the rest was history

  17. SnooRegrets2479

Amare piqued my interest into basketball but Carmelo Anthony made me fall in love with it

  18. Mapleb0w

Melo vs D rose and the Bulls on Easter. Been a basketball fan since

  19. Marbury, Crawford, Eddy Curry and David Lee

They was hot garbage at this time too lol

  20. The great Anthony Mason, who taught me as a kid that New York doesn’t take any shit from anyone.
