All these Dame trades are like “the Heat gets Dame and Herro, the other teams get a bunch of first rounders and Zach, the Bulls get squat. Awesome trade, right?” This one is at least better than the last one I saw, Tobias Harris and a first plus a swap isn’t horrible. But it runs into the same problem as the others, what are we going to do with this? Harris is a veteran, he’s only useful to a competing team. If we dump Zach then we’re not competing. None of these trades make sense to the Bulls, I seriously hope we don’t give up Zach for nothing just so the Heat can get a big three.

I don’t have to make a in-depth analysis, it’s simply shit. It’s not a rebuild trade, it’s not an upgrade trade, we just down a scale and still compete for play-in if we do that lmao.

We just have to ignore these. The Bulls are in a position where every neutral observer is demanding we blow it up, so we’re always going to be the after thought in these fake trades. It doesn’t really matter what we get; it’s only about moving our stars to better situations and providing cap relief to contenders with a token pick or two thrown in.
That being said, this is no worse than some of the pre-draft trades I saw flying around in this sub.
