Dolan making it rain on ‘em lolol
That’s a big number but I think inflated bc he picked up his option. Should be fine moving forward with cap increasing
Love to see it. The Nova Knicks are locked in for a few more seasons.
78 was always the minimum here. Time to get a decent wing who has size to play the 3 and 4.
Perfect embodiment of a Knick. The trade to land Cam Reddish originally might’ve been weird but it ended with us landing Josh which is huge for the culture. Here’s to the rest of the 2020s with the Villanova boys
Well deserved
An absolute win. Let’s goooo
LET’SSSS FUCKIN GOOOOOOOOO
The Nova Knicks!
He stay. I’m happy.
Happy for Hart, he seems to love it here.
Happy for us, we love having him.
I’m assuming there’s a player option in the final year…can anyone confirm?
Them CAA ties going crazy lmao
everytime the cap increases it takes a year or so before i can get used to guys making this much money. im used to role players getting like half of this. anyways, LETS GO HART
🐶
With the way the cap is going up locking up Hart for 5 years is a massive win.
Bruce Brown is making 22 million a year now, Hart will be making a little more than that in his final year, 5 years from now.
So basically 5/94? 18 and change a year?
With this FO, always interested to see if there are incentives, increasing or decreasing year over year, but not mad in the slightest, especially when we’re off of Evan’s money or putting it towards a major guy.
Anything to get cas paid lol
the Hart Foundation in tact
Feels good to have a young core locked in
Overpay
Love Josh Hart
We got our guy
LETS FUCKING GO! 4Y/$81M (or 5Y/$94M if you include this year’s contract) is an amazing deal compared to the type of money some of these guys were getting in the offseason. When old ass Draymond Green is getting 4Y/$100M, you know the market is broken and we now locked in Brunson/Hart for like $45M per year for the next 2 years (Brunson will probably opt out in 25-26). Add in RJ (4Y, $24-29M AUV… ugh), Mitch (3Y, $13-16M) and DiVincenzo (4Y, $11-12M) and we got a decent core of guys. Hopefully IQ takes a step up and we extend him on a decent contract this year (ideally no more than $20M per year but hearing he wants 4Y/$100M)
Time to manifest Mikal Bridges to the Knicks. It’s in the prophecy. So let it be written, so let it be done…
Great deal for him – he’s been huge for us.
Not every signing is for a Lebron. He’s a Spark plug off the bench. A little pricey but at least I’m getting some kind of production off the second unit.
Congrats to Hart!
Only the finest Cambodian Breast Milk for my boy from now on! 🍼
So we got JHart locked down for the next 5 years, nice!
Deserves every penny
Voltron is forming 🙌🏻 auto bots unite… lol
Hoping last year is team option
We just re-signed Hart and now we just re-signed Hart
It’s a lot, but we need to lock him up. Championship-level ancillary piece.
I would like to stress to everyone reading that though the absolute numbers seem large he is going to be making somewhere between 10-15% of the salary cap for his entire career which in 2015 was $7-10 million per year. This is not that big a contract in relative NBA terms. He will be an asset the entire length of the deal.
He’s worth it. The impact he had on our team was big. Nobody should hate on this contract.
And today is a good day
I’m glad to see Hart back!
That being said…
I wanna see the full details but 4/81 is a little too much imo
Down payment on a Brunson extension
I have no idea if this is a fair contract or not. New salaries are bonkers.
Welcome home, Josh. Let’s get to work.
