If team USA decides to go all out on a tournament and the players are ok with it (which is impossible in today's NBA), none of the players (maybe other than JJJ) in the current USA team will make that 15 man roster team.

Austin Reaves plays along side LeBron James and Anthony Davis And hold his own, playing on the Lakers! This kid is intelligent and subrebrial so the world is simply finally taking notice!
I always say AR is a fearless player. His play is going to make even more team hate over the next season.

The first time I saw Kobe dunk and had a few games under his belt, I felt he was going to be something special. Austin gives me that same vibe. The best part, hes young, hungry and will be a core Laker for the years to come.
AR is a low key assassin. i really think he's the jerry west 2.0.
the one asset he has that separates him from the rest is his high IQ.
plus mentoring from lebron is an intangible.
props to the lakers though – among the best scouting departments in the NBA. historically magic and kobe. for the past decade, look at ex-lakers drafts becoming all-stars. just today, josh hart got the bag. the problem has always been player development and longevity for team chemistry.

He’s a big guard that can shoot. Not too many can play off the ball and with the ball and he knows how to use his body. He said he studied James harden and he shows that.
I hope he doesn’t start on team USA. I never want the league to guard him and worry about him in games so he can go off. Nobody in the league can stick AR15. He can drop 25 on anybody. He plays the game the right way but if you give him the shots other stars get he’s dropping 23 easy every night

Kind of clear that AR adjusts his game to fit the system he's in and who he's playing with. The guy's got a few more notches he can dial his game up to.

Forget teams allowing the Lakers to re-sign AR to a team-friendly contract. How about blaming yourselves for not picking him in the draft? Sure him and his agent urged teams not to draft him because he so desperately wanted to be a Laker, but y'all had your chance. He is ours now and for the foreseeable future. And for that, I say thank you.
I'm a Reaves fan and he's a really good player who puts a lot of effort into his game, but it seems like he's gone from being underrated to (at least slightly) overrated. But that's human nature – most people tend to exaggerate everything.
