Takes a lot of energy to move 7 feet and 300 pounds of human around the court. As a general rule, smalls can give you more minutes. IMO 30-34 minutes is where you're gonna get the most mileage out of him. That doesn't even count injury history. I really think this is the wrong coach for the wrong player at the wrong time on the wrong team.

Nurse is not a players coach. He disagrees and fight with his assistant coaches, throws players under bus to the media, plays favourites with certain players in his team, doesn’t play his bench and is extremely arrogant.
This is the last year anyone considers Embid a top ten player.
He's gonna be like one of those Ultra Marathoners who runs a hundred miles, comes in sixth and can barely walk again.
Or he's gonna break down crying before All Star break, which will be hilarious, and his Soft As Baby Poo rep will be locked in.

i feel a bit anxious. on one hand embiid is a certified round 2 choker and it didnt matter if it was brett brown or doc rivers the team still failed. i like nick nurse, he is a good coach. he is told to win with the rosters we had. he played the guys he trusted to win us the most games, not conducive to developing. philly dont need development advice from nurse. he is with a roster that outright did way better than our raps did. i cant just count out nurse with a good roster because the last time he's had one, covid destroyed that momentum that year. and the year prior they won a championship. someone had to go because of the disappointing season and the raptors have to develop/win. nurse is fitting for contending teams. darko will hopefully come in and speed up the growth of the young talent on the roster now.

I met Tobias Harris at my work when he opened up his Crumbl store here in Sauga. I legit went up to him and said “aye yo my man, I hope your cardio is on point because coach Nick is gone run you tired!!!” He laughed and said “I know” super nice guy. 6’9 is tall as fuck
NN is a great coach. My only beef with him is that he failed to develop a bench. Embid could easily have his best year ever with Nurse coaching
