Considering how 2010 was decided by Andrew Bynum making a very clear non-basketball play by forcing a piggy back ride during a rebound, I’m going to choose 2010 over the 2022 choke job.

Easily 2010. Coz, that means that Lakers have 1 less chip. It’s not even a question. 2022, we deserved to lose that series. We were the better team but GSW performed better in the finals.

  3. Game 7 in 2010 still haunts me too. But…

We had already seen the big 3 and rondo win a ring. Yeah, winning two in three years would’ve cemented that team as one of the greats. But just seeing pierce and kg even win one was almost good enough.

Seeing tatum and brown win a ring at that young age by knocking off curry and one of the greatest dynasties ever would’ve meant so much though. And I don’t think I wanted to see a player win a championship more than marcus smart. Not to mention al is 154 years old and still hasn’t got one. Maybe smart wins a ring with the grizzlies and maybe tatum and brown figure it out and get them one too. But nothing is guaranteed. Beating durant and kyrie, giannis and the defending champs, butler and the heat, and then the warriors dynasty all in one run would’ve been historic imo.

Always against the Lakers, we were so close and can’t let them pass up in Championships. That Big 3 era would be looked at much differently also getting 2

I’m going against the grain here. 2010 team had already cemented their place in history. They got there’s. This current team hasn’t done shit, and would be more impactful in all time terms. Tatum winning would propel him into top 30 all time already. And I desperately wanted Smart to win

Watching game 7 without perk and seeing all those stupid Lakers rebounds will haunt me until I die
