    Slovenia will struggle at the World Cup. They will get out of the group but will struggle in crossover with Australia and Germany. Locked on Boomers with Exum and Green might be a better watch.

    I wonder if Luka knew Mavs were, not just 24th in Def, but 30th in paint- Def and 30th in Rebounding? Seriously, Derek Harper mentioned that on the broadcast about 3/4 through the season. But it wss Kidds choice when he had bigger, better guys sitting.

    Anyways, I think the reporters on post games should bring that up to him. He has to start using his voice to Kidd. Kidd did it with Carlisle. Told him to start Stevenson and sit Riddy B. The rest was history.

    One might call this forshadowing of the mavs upcoming season, where the team has to rely on open 3s set up by lukaz but then also gets completly dominated by a team who actually values skilled bigs.

    This Slovenia team is hideously bad. Prepelic is the only other guy who's halfway decent, Cancar is injured, and while Morgan is a good cutter, he's like a Powell sized guy with Wood's defense

    Slovenia don't have that high level players except Luka. They have Goran before but he's retired now I guess. All players in the Slovenian team are just terrible. Don't expect high we're just overrating them because of Luka but compared to the elites of Europe they're behind the likes of Spain, Serbia and France.

    Only if the Mavs had coach Scariolo…. that man is a legend. He is the best coach in FIBA by far, able to make magic with teams without much talent. Spain is a solid, genuine team. However it doesn't have FIBA star caliber players like in the past with Marc, Navarro, CalderĂłn, Ricky Rubio… or even NBA star like Pau. Even tho, he keeps winning World Championships, Eurochampionships and so on. Look at that ball movement, everyone knowing his role and playing the right way, all players playing at their best, everyone being important.. it is just a pleasure to watch them play. Btw, coach Scariolo has a ring with the Raptors too, he was assistant coach that season.
