Memphis can go 24-7 playing in the AAC and only get a 8/9 seed. Going 24-7 in the Big East gets you a 3-6 seed at worst. Playing in the Big East gets fans' butts in seats at the FEF. The AAC doesn't. Memphis ain't getting 5 stars anymore playing in the AAC unless they're in the portal. Nuff said.
THE BIG ORANGE RULES OVER FOOTBALL iIN THE GREAT STATE OF TENNESSEE GO VOLS
Memphis can prioritize football without basketball suffering one bit. Before dropping football I would go rouge, like Miami in the 80s and UNLV did in basketball.
