when ky came to dallas in an interview he explained how when he signed with the Nets there were no negotiations and how that was a mistake on his part. he wished he met with them to know what they were about before. I find that hard to believe for someone who has been in the league for 11 years, but whatever. If this is his last contract, might as well take his time and listen to everyone. Kev they said they werent going to work with the Lakers on any kind of sign and trade, and that they had no interest in dlo. I'm sure if he wants to walk they would work with him, but they dont have to work with other teams, especially ones in the west. lol I hope it works out and he signs with the Mavs. I don't think they will offer him max years, maybe a 3+1 at the max, but like you said communication about the new cba and improving the team would be ideal.
