  1. Lol, Garuba in that picture. The collective fandom would call for somebody’s head if the FO signed him as our “backup big”.

  2. K_a_n_d_o_r_u_u_s

    C. Wood > Biyombo >>> Garuba >>>>> Tristian >>>>> McGee

Unpopular opinion but if we can’t get C. Wood, Tristan would be a solid vet pickup. He’s already familiar with the roster and could play the Dudley role

  4. Original-Tourist-744

I leave it to our agent Austin reaves , this is above my pay grade

  5. ALovelyAnxiety

I really want mc gee and Thompson from a bias and past experience with us.

  6. foozbinjex

All of these guys suck. I guess Wood has the highest upside.

  7. T T

If Wood wanted to come here that deal would have been finalized weeks ago

  8. a-chill-guy-22

None, roll with the roster as is and trade for one

  9. LAFAN4LYFE

Pelinka said organization wanted someone with different skill sets then Hayes right?

So that wouldn’t be Mcgee or TT right?

C Wood fits that profile, so did Kaminsky but he’s gone.

Unless he meant a player like Biyombo (banger)

Wood, but it’s telling he hasn’t signed yet. Would love to see a Wood/AD backcourt in action one day cause of the offensive firepower. If not him, then TT. Mostly for the vet presence, can play some minutes in spot and hopefully mentor Hayes. Biyombo is also a standup guy so I wouldn’t mind him either.

gimme the toughness of Biyombo. I don’t care if he gets dunked on once a game, he’ll block or foul much more than he gets posterized.

  12. believeINCHRIS

    In order

    Christian

    Javele

    Bismack

    Khloe baby daddy

Dude inbetween Khloe baby daddy and Javele

If one not available just head down the list

  13. TheWestRemembers

People here don’t want C. Wood but the regular season is 82 freaking games, and AD should get some rest. Throw in Wood off the bench and have him score on secondaries. (Yes, his defense sucks, I know).

  14. SophisticamatedApe

Mcgee? Howard? Some of the IQ of these lakers fans man lol. Might as well bring shaq back at this point.

  15. turd_2004

Javale; it’s a proven winning formula with him next to AD

  16. TorontoRaptors34

If not CWood i’d say Tristan due to him being there last yr and reportedly having a huge impact on the young guys and AD.

  17. 206WithAFish

Tristan gave great effort and played well with the limited minutes he got. He still has a little left in the tank, lakers should just pick him up.

  18. high-on-avocado

No one. Why are you guys so obsessed to fill the 15th spot?

  19. TheRealLakeshow

McGee so we can have a scapegoat if we play shitty this year

  20. Outrageous_Fox4227

Bismack is actually still a useful defender/rebounder. Wood is a cancer. Javale is old. Tristan is not the same athlete he was a few years ago.

The team already has around 6 or 7 strong offensive options. I really don’t see the reason behind preferring Wood over someone who can, at the very least, alleviate a portion of the defensive responsibilities in the event of AD getting injured at some point (very likely).

Biyombo is at least a very good rim protector.
