It makes zero basketball sense to not be in the 1st tax in 2025 BTW, I am usually not here to shit on Ressler but if he ducks the next next year I am going to be pissed off

The Hawks are likely to go over cap unless disappointing season.
Instead it’s written with negativity, pessimistic that Hawks will have a good season a bad season is more likely which owners try to stay under the tax.

I don’t know why people in here think we need to overpay our players for the level of output we’re getting. There is absolutely no reason to go into the tax for a team that is barely scraping the playoff surface.
If I had to guess, the obvious offload of a contract would be DeAndre Hunter’s. Capela is bargain for his output (barring a regression in his production) – same goes for Bogi.
