Unfortunately, FVV made it hard for any short PGs going forward on OUR roster.
Mentored by Kyle and taught by Fred, Malachi was supposed to be our back up point guard when we drafted him in 2020. We had high hopes, when Kyle left Flynn was suppose to fill that spot and he didn't so everything fell on Fred. Then Desmon Bane comes out the gate and we start to question if we made the right choice drafting Flynn. Mykhailiuk contributed, Banton contributed, Jeff contributed, yet somehow those players get let go for Flynn. Now Fred is gone for free and we're looking for a long term reliable PG it's now or never. Your too good for G-league but not good enough for the NBA now we got a 5'8 PG that's hungrier than you and wants your spot, you gotta feel a type of way about that. It's now or never you dropped 73 points at a high school cool. Bring that to the NBA other wise this could be the end of your career homie.

Flynn wasn't given opportunity. you can't grow or improve when you don't get any play. he is an nba level guard that is just not a priority to the raptors. he's a point guard. we signed schroder, and scottie must have the ball more. I honestly see the same inopportune year for Flynn.
Chev I agree with you Flynn fell for the shooters league crap. He doesn’t understand while we want a PG who can shoot and get points we also need that Lowry like PG that can play make, run the floor, make his teammates better, play defence and take charges. Hopefully Darko can develop him. I’m expecting Flynn & Precious to take another step in their game or it’s time to move on.
Ppl musta forgot, NN played a huge hand of not letting the young guys fail forward. And flynn being just behind his beloved FVV, made it near impossible to see floor time.
I dont particularly care or like flynn as much as other lowkey potentials but i cant overlook this part where he really never got a fair shake on things.

Either let hit get a chance somewhere else or give him s chance this season. Don't let him just warm thr bench..they gotta make a decision on him. Playing overseas might be best for him yes
I agree. However, what could Flynn have done to change the narrative when he didn't get a chance to play under nurse.
This preseason camp is between Flynn and Dowtin. My money is on Dowtin as Dowtin is the better defender.
this guy is really good… probably lost confidence under ninck nurse… never given a chance.. one turn over and he looks over nick nurse… basketball is all about confidence..
If he stops going for heat checks when his statline is 1-2-1 he might be fine 😂 he has to find a middle ground between shot chucker and making impactless passes in the offense
