For a medium that is all about creating and maximizing drama, the cinema spectacularly falls short of replicating the drama of an actual game. Every. Single. Time. What an absolute joke of a scene. Zero drama whatsoever.

That Houston team went on to go to the finals eventually losing to the Celtics. Moses Malone was a beast

Wait which one is from the show, the top or the bottom?

Top is from the show right?

I been meaning to watch this but wow that was like a nauseating amount of cuts

I like this show. I really hope it gets renewed.

I couldn’t get into the tone of this show but the actually basketball action always looks good

    Hollywood, baby. Over-dramatize everything.

In real time you can see he actually had a great look, just bricked it. Fuck The System!

  9. Magic won a ring and was the Finals MVP the next year.

This show is so corny but so good at the same time. I feel like I’m watching the men’s version of sex in the city or some shit

This is why I can’t take any fucking TV series or movie seriously, it’s so fake it’s like watching fucking anime. That little nod “Magic” gave to the coach 🤮🤮🤮. And how you hear the sneakers squeaking and the players grunting as if a single fucking player would be able to hear that over the crowd… which 90% doesn’t make a single noise for god knows what reason. This shit is laughably bad. It’s so fucking obvious not a single basketball fan or player actually had any input in this shit.

Edit: just looked it up, and yep, they didn’t get the opinion or insight from a *single* Laker player, coach, or staff member. It’s embarrassing when it’s that noticeable from a fucking 20 second clip on reddit. Everyone who made this should fucking feel ashamed, and anyone that likes it doesn’t actually like basketball, they like drama and storylines. What a fucking joke. I called it a 20 second clip cuz I had to stop watching it and couldn’t make it to 25 seconds due to how absolutely cringey it was, holy shit.

Winning Time is so fucking good. The entire cast is amazing, HBO never misses man

LOL the re-enactment makes it seem like every Laker was open.

Quincy does not look good this season. I don’t know if he gained weight or I didn’t notice as much last season but he looks awful in uniform and it’s become distracting.

You should do more side by side comparisons!

  16. Winning Time is such a great time! I highly recommend it, Season 2 is awesome! I really hope we get a Season 3, please!
