Duncan, Gabe, Max, Lowry. Out of those 4, Gabe was imho the most consistent (during playoffs). Max has his shooting spurts, but I don't think he was consistent. Duncan had energy especially when he scored not by 3s, but he fouls alot and again, not consistent. I love Lowry, but those "personal reasons" excuses not being on the team and some other things. We should have kept Gabe at least.
We just need to toughen up.
Also, aren't the NBA champions "national" champions? I really don't hear much people declaring most pro-league sports champions as "world" champions. If anything, for example, the Denver Nuggets are "NBA" champions. And honestly, I don't really hear winners in the Olympics as "world champions", I see them as who they are, GOLD MEDALISTS.
Another good video the only problem I have with your logic is that Dame provided what the team needed last year. This is a new season players will have growth and older players will show loss. Mortgage the future for a possible present is not good business. If they get Lillard for a steal then ofcourse but most are saying give everything possible for the HOF scorer but you must also factor the lack of defensive effort and size.
Miami just needs to play ball. Portland needs to trade Dame. All the pressure is on the Blazers.
Interesting side note* Damian Lillard gave the Nuggets severe problems last year .. highly efficient 35ppg avg. in 3 games against Denver. Almost won season series 2-1, but Jamal Murray hit a GW triple to squander another amazing Lillard performance.
