  1. He lazy we saw him Ina heat series . Kyle diving for ball R.J BACKING OFF THE PLAY.R.J A YNGER RANDLE DNT TRUST HIM BALL OUT INA PLAY OFFS OR EVERY GAME

  2. I agree HC isn’t getting anything out of him cus there’s no offensive plan… no one moves off ball no off ball screens no movement just iso ball. Can’t compete deep in the playoffs running iso 24/7.

  3. Being able to see an open man or a rotation coming when he drives could unlock more of his game. If he’s finding guys on his strong drives to the basket, those rotations would have to hedge a bit, and ultimately it would give him and his teammates better looks.

  4. I Have no idea what this guys is talking about… how does he define "structure"? Its just mumbo jumbo. RJ is a slasher that scores well in isolation. Does "structure" mean pass-first basketball? if so, it's not actually a strength or RJ just yet because he isn't a good spot up shooter which motion offense requires you to be.

  5. I disagree. Ive seen RJ score over taller players like Jarrett Allen or Myles Turner. He even plays really good vs bucks and they are a tall lengthy team. RJ can score over almost anybody. He just needs to stay consistent I think.

  6. Facts. No inside game. Forced to do improv and dribble out a play… develop an inside game and become a better DeRozan or become a system player. It’s no knock… Klay is a system guy and he’s lethal doing it.

  7. I understand his take but its a little too limited. RJ can create more than hes stating. The Knicks arent even using him as an improv guy not. Hes the 3rd option on this team. Hes not cast in a role to improvise. He has shown in spots when given the opportunity to initiate offense he has shown many times he can thrive. Think of the 2nd half of the season prior to Brunson coming on board. He thrived operating from the top of the offense. I like him in an offense with more movement but he can be effective in half court and transition offense.

  8. He got some good points but Harrison Barnes? No disrespect to Barnes good player but Barnes is more of a system guy RJ I think he can be more than that…I think you'll see big jump in his game this year

  9. Disagree with most of what this dude said smh. Dont need to be flashy or jump out of the gym to be a great player. A better version of Barnes? Terrible take.

  10. Basically the coach using him wrong …. Go figure 😂 either way him and foolius is oil and water

  11. I doubt the coach would be willing to try to develop plays to suit RJ , you have 1 too many players that holds the ball to much, resulting in shot clock countdown by the time he gets it on a set play , much better off ball movement, "wipe some of that glue off your fingers JR", would open up more options.

  12. Nice take on RJ…he is what he is – Though RJ thinks he is a superstar in coming

  13. The problem is he plays for a coach who is garbage offensively. Thibs was the WRONG coach to build up a team of young players – because he hates young players. He was the worst coach they could have hired to coach a team of draft picks. Obi should STILL be here and Thibs should have been gone.
