Yeah no one’s saying this, sounds like you just want to feel like some sort of victim lol.

Comparing apples and oranges frankly, I’m the biggest steph fan in history but let’s be honest he isn’t taking that 2018 cavs team to the finals, and if he somehow did and lost to the greatest team ever assembled nobody would blame him

Getting real tired of this constant worry about Curry’s legacy. People who know basketball know how great he is.

The way I see it:
– The greatest team during the Jordan era were the Bulls
– The greatest team during the Lebron era are the Warriors

If this was a thing, the last championship changed that sentiment. Everyone saw Curry as carrying the Dubs and Wiggs being a solid #2 guy on a team barely picked to win it all.
Let it go, people know.

Who cares? Steph has won more NBA fans over since then, including Lebron himself.

I would say this was valid 2015-2019, since then it feels like it hasn’t held true?
2020-2021 pretty much everyone agreed the team was just in dire straits and it wasn’t blamed on Curry.
2022 almost everyone universally says that the championship run, while giving some credit to the supporting cast, was led and run by Curry and his singular greatness gets accolades for that run (rightfully so).
2023 it felt like the common narrative was that while Curry individually is great (G7 Sac) the Lakers were the better team hence why the Dubs lost, not Curry choking.
