The NBA is ready to buy broadcasting rights to NBA Games shown on Bally Sports

Personally, I am not too sure about this. Will we need the League Pass channel on Cable, or is it another subscription we have to buy into? If so, then what measures will be taken for reliable broadcast. What do you think?

I hate to imagine sports being behind multiple subscriptions but I feel like that’s what gonna happen. I sure hope I’m able to stream the Cavs games this season (affordably).

    Fantastic news.

The TV product is the NBA for 99% of fans and the NBA cannot control quality without owning the TV product.

I don’t know if this move will actually improve the TV experience or slow down its decline, but it’s better than the alternative.

Please keep AC and Brad for our broadcasts.

It’s gonna be a subscription. Probably called “NBAtv single team package”. Announcers will probably stay the same? Will most likely be paid less

I just hope this means an end to broadcasting blackouts. I would have gladly paid for league pass for the fast few years, but even though I live OVER 200 MILES AWAY the stupid blackout rules meant I couldn’t watch the Cavs on league pass.
