Is this our old practice gym in Scotiabank Arena? I wasn’t aware it still existed lol.

Love to see this but I’m not gonna be impressed until I see those flashes on the court

He’s shooting well, I’m genuinely curious to see If he turns into a player that can hit a crossover into a 3 pointer in an actual game and create shots on the perimeter. He’s obviously practicing it so hopefully it translates to the NBA.

  4. His shot looks good. I really don’t see why he can’t be a 35%+ shooter from 3 this season and beyond. It’s like 15 more 3s than he hit last year, and this is looking smoother and more repeatable. Just need to see it in hand, but the form is there.

Need to see more workouts with trainers guarding/bumping him. His shot still looks like a set one that will be hard to get off when guarded as evidenced by that 1v1 tape we saw earlier this summer

He’s obviously not as quick as Shai but i’d be nice to see him try to mirror those bump and step back mid range shots using his frame to create space

Yeahhhhh I’m just gonna need him to make catch and shoot 3s at 36%, don’t need to show off the slow mo pull-ups right now

Love seeing any videos these days that give us some insight into off season activities and training of the players.

Only issue is: these guys put up hundreds of shots each day. Seeing a compilation of 6 unguarded made threes and 3 unguarded made dunks (even with beneath the leg high degree of difficulty!) may not be saying much because we don’t see all the misses.

If he can actually become a solid-good 3 point shooter I feel like his individual trajectory, & in turn the teams ceiling goes up a fair bit

Insert obligatory Ben Simmons summer jump shot video meme.

  10. i like this, also would be nice to see what his footwork looks like in the post. Schröder and Scottie can do damage in PnR

  11. Release is a bit slow, and starts at a low point from
    His face

ok but is this not what every teenager does on their driveway during the summer?

I just can’t see Scott coming in blazing as rookie, repeating that performance the next year, and then not growing from that experience. We’ve all seen it, he has this switch he flips on and takes over a game for a quarter or even two sometimes, after the half. Forget all the drills in the gym, if he can find a way to turn that switch on for 3 quarters a game consistently, he’s an all-star.
