New NBA resting rules mean Dame will probably play if we keep him to start the season. And also super tanking, like we did last season, is now a bad idea if you have an all-star

That really sucks, Dame isn’t gonna effect the amount of total wins that much but it’s going to be hella weird for Scoot to have to come off the bench or just deal with the circus of Dame answering questions or Scoot being asked about Dame’s situation

Interesting, I’m curious how teams will respond. Will there be a minimum of minutes stars will have to play each game to avoid a fine? A “materially reduced role” could also have implications for late-game situations with the game on the line, like us keeping Dame out of the lineup with 2 minutes to go and we’re down 1.

This exact strategy was key to our super tank and got us both Sharpe and Scoot, right before it’s gonna be “outlawed”. And now we still have our superstar to trade for a nice package?

Great timing on our part it seems. Got 2 studs, nice stuff coming back in the future, AND we’ll probably be bad enough naturally for another good pick next year? Bright Blazers future.

Sc00t and Shade have a another year or two before they become All-Stars. The Tank should be over by then.
