LeBron? Juicing? Why, I’m shocked, I tell you.

    > While reporting this story, ESPN was told by federal authorities that they **found nothing** to suggest that Alexander — who has trained James — or Mims provided any PEDs to any athletes. But because both had a relationship with James, their involvement in the investigation caused investigators to look at whether James might have been involved in any activity related to PEDs — and they concluded that he was not: **”There was never any indication that LeBron James did anything wrong,”** the lead DEA investigator said.

  3. and Biogenesis was the place linked to Jameer Nelson and the package for “LJ” iirc years back

  4. Yeah, I’d say that most of the top athletes use performance enhancing drugs. Some of these are illegal, some are legal, but it’s very difficult to reach that level of physical performance naturally.

It’s telling that rookies entering the league will put on a bunch of muscle between the draft and the start of the season. Once you get to that level not only do you have access to training facilities and coaching, but also the nutrition and drug regimen to maximize you results.

This is not to disparage the amount of work these athletes put in, but it’s the reality. If anything drugs allow them to work harder as they speed up recovery.

    NO SURPRISE THERE.

He’s had a previous connection to a steroid company before through an intermediary(I. Believe same clinic Jameer Nelson used) pattern baldness that appeared, disappeared, and reappeared, and a ~~cancerous lesion in his cheek~~ benign tumor in his jaw that are all tell-tale signs of PED use.

If I was him I’d be doing it too.

Lotta people not reading the actual article lmao

  7. Troll-e-poll-e-o-lee

People take performance enhancers at commercial gyms while working call center jobs. If you don’t think every athlete is doping to maximize their body and get paid millions I have oceanfront property in Arizona to sell you. I got it as a gift from my Nigerian uncle who’s a prince.

  8. AnomolousAberration

I think it’s like as kids we never realized how much of the adult population smokes weed or has some sort of vice. As non professional athletes I’m willing to be most of us don’t realize how prevalent steroids are.

If I could make make millions off of it I’d be more juiced than a box of tropicana

  9. throwawayjoeyboots

Are there people out there that think LeBron wasn’t juiced?

Dude was built like a brick wall lmao and the NBA had joke testing system until 2013 or something like that.

  10. scubacatt

He was the personal trainer for LeBron’s wife…something something Peyton Manning.

  11. Background_Action_92

Miami does have the best steroids

  12. tomhalejr

You don’t really think he went to Germany because the “LeBron James of foot doctors” has some magic healing powers, right?

  13. Davefromflushing

It’s obvious that LeBron and D Wade were on the Barry Bonds stuff that makes your head grow. Look at their heads as rookies and then mid career. Their heads, especially their jaws grew significantly.

  14. a-chill-guy-22

    In 2011 ESPN asked D-Rose:

“If 1 equals ‘What are PEDs’ and 10 equals ‘Everybody’s Juicing’ … How big of an issue is illegal enhancing in your sport?”

    Rose answered:

“Seven. It’s huge, and I think we need a level playing field, where nobody has that advantage over the next person.”

When the article came out a lot players and David Stern argued that it is not a problem at all. D-Rose later backpedaled and said he doesn’t remember saying that and doesn’t even remember the question being asked.

I have nothing to support my opinion on this matter other than common sense, I absolutely believe NBA players are juicing and have been for decades.

NFL players do it. MLB players do it. Sprinters, swimmers, and even cyclists do it. You’re telling me the NBA is the one place in the professional sports world where it isn’t present? Fuck outta here lol.

  15. Difficult_E

What’s more believable? LeBron is a 1-of-1 human that can do the things he does for as long as he has orrrrrrr he was using PEDs?

  16. TheNatureBoy

Lebron was holding those PEDs for a friend.

  17. LeBron is on a new diet, focused on cutting weight and prolonging his career. Again.

No, it has nothing to do with the NBA’s recently updated list of prohibited substances. It’s a coincidence, just like last time.

**One year later the muscle/bulk is back.**

  18. DubsFanAccount

It’s always safe to assume every NBA player 1) does PEDs and 2) cheats on their wife.

  19. MyBurner23

Steph curry on it, look how big his fucking shoulders got around the 2021 /2022 season. You don’t just bulk up like that in your 30’s.

Most of the athletes in the world are on the sauce. But because sports are marketed to kids, their is an incentive for leagues to stick their heads in the sand.

Also, drug test are incredibly easy to avoid or fake. Clearance Kennedy posted a great documentary on steroids in sports for anyone interested : https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=HQLweuRSD9M&pp=ygUXQ2xhcmVuY2Uga2VubmVkeSBkb3Bpbmc%3D

  20. SirKelvinTan

I mean – Lebron taking PEDs isn’t all that shocking to me?

  21. Tantle18

I’m not even against the use of PED’s because most of the time it prevents injuries or helps players recover from injuries faster. If the side effect is guys running faster, jumping higher, hitting balls further, fucking give it to me. Atleast in basketball, steroids aren’t causing guys to hit more jumpers just like in baseball steroids weren’t helping players to actually hit the ball. From my experience personally, I took steroids in college while recovering from Tommy John surgery and it was the best decision I ever made. I didn’t come back throwing harder, it just made me recover quicker. Which I think is the point of PED’s for all these top athletes. Their edge from them isn’t exactly translated onto the court, it’s the recovery between workouts and games that’s just quicker. They can get more work in because they’re not tired and sore the next day.

  22. eexxiitt

No one should be surprised. How else do all these players make these miraculous recoveries? All those flights to Germany come to mind lol.

  23. andrew-ge

    no shit lol

it’s pro sports, they’re on PEDs

  24. Isthatyobop

Of course there on fucking drugs! Basketball is hard to play . Without these drugs , no body is coming back from injuries . Y’all think this shit the mcu? U think Kevin Durant came back on fire? Due to rehab?

  25. Father-John-Moist

Imagine being an adult who believes Lebron is natty lmao

  26. If we are going to hold athletes in other sports accountable we shouldn’t give NBA players a pass just because

  27. Clearly, 98% of this thread didn’t read the fucking article. Grow up

  28. Dogpicsforboobs562

Anyone with a brain knows this.

Yes Lebron is a genetic freak but he is also on hgh at the minimum.

  29. mapletree23

Lots could be on them, and honestly they should be allowed if they’re not to use them to help recovery times at least.

Lebron has an amazing physique but it was ridiculous in Miami. Giannis’ blow up.

Honestly they need to just shit or get off the pot with it. Or you end up in a weird baseball situation where you have these hype moments of homerun hitting ruined by PEDs despite the fact so many more players were on them but only certain star players got targetted in the media.

You either just allow it or come down hard on it and get rid of it completely so you don’t risk random leaks like this making you look like jackasses.

  30. If y’all really think LeBron uses 1.5 million per year on his body and not a single penny of that goes on enhancing his body, y’all too naive

  31. beachguy82

How many parents are giving their junior high and high school kids HGH trying to get them to 7 feet? I bet it’s in the high thousands.

  32. Market-Dependent

Bill burr had mentioned along the lines that he doesn’t mind open ped usage, because the athletes would be the ones testing* it for us lmao

  33. Rubberbabeh

Rick Barry is so mad right now

*Not that he doped, but that he is always talking about how the current gen has EVERYTHING and is still soft. Like how the fuck are you not playing in all 82 games when you have all the modern science and luxuries of the modern NBA?

  34. TheRed_Knight

people thought Bron wasnt on the sauce? lmao
