Norman Powell finally reveals the TRUTH behind his trade away from the Toronto Raptors at the 2021 trade deadline. The deal saw Masai Ujiri swap the beloved Raptors player for Gary Trent Jr. and Rodney Hood from the Portland Trail Blazers. Fans were sad to see a favorite who was part of the 2019 championship team go but Gary Trent’s performances quickly changed those emotions as fans grew more and more excited about his future.
Since Powell’s trade to the Blazers, he has since been dealt again to the Los Angeles Clippers and now about 2.5 years later, Norm speaks out about his Toronto departure and he made a bold claim about what the team could have really looked like if he was never traded.

Norman dropping 40s after Kawhi went down in PHX series, holy cow… I always like him because he can drop 20 when you least expected, but man that game… even though LAC lost but Norman was 🔥
Gary Trent may be younger but is half the player and very inconsistent. They should have kept Norm.
