.@ZachLowe_NBA mentioned Dorian Finney-Smith as a player the Bucks could acquire for their 2029 first if they go all-in on a title this year to keep Giannis:

How valuable would that pick be? I guess it could be a worthy gamble if this season doesn’t work out for the Bucks and Giannis eventually asks out (I don’t know if Finney Smith would move the needle on the Bucks). The Bucks could become incredibly volatile in the years to come as their stars age and possibly leave. But 2029 is a a long time away, many things could happen in that time frame. It really depends on how the Nets value him and if he has any improvements with our squad. I’m not sure if the Org is ready to give up on him just yet.
This could be a solid pick. Giannis might leave since their core is old. And even if he stays, he’ll be in his 30s with declining athleticism. And no free agents go to Milwaukee. Basically they’d have to rely on their late draft picks hitting.
If it’s unprotected, or maybe only top 3/5 protected, then it’s probably worth it
I’d probably pull the trigger on any DFS trade that nets a first that’s likely to land at better than 20+
