    Great pickup, he’s a serious defensive machine with great versatility and ability to switch as well as good passing feel. His offensive game is a work in progress but getting Garuba on a 2-way is a steal.

    Hell ya I’ve been high on Garuba since the draft. Admittedly me thinking he would be better than Scottie Barnes is hilarious with hindsight

    He is almost a spitting image of Dray as a player with less fire and motor. He’s going to be GREAT in our system with Dray yelling in his ear!!

    Loved Usman in the draft, really happy about the signing. Obviously has a long way to go, and he cleared waivers for a reason, but the defense is so, so intriguing. If he could figure out a role on offense that could help him actually stay on the court, maybe that defense could shine through a good bit. Finding a role for a no-offense big is difficult, but hey, they’ve done it with Dray and Loon (those two are very clearly better players, but still).

    Having Usman in with the org for at least a season seems like no-brainer, never hurts to have a little extra depth stashed on a two-way. Worth the upside swing, especially since he isn’t taking up an active roster spot.

    Pretty good pickup, mainly because it’s a 2-way. If he can become Looney 2.0 that’ll be a win.

    It’s easy to agree that he’s a great pickup for a 2-way even more now that we have 3 spots instead of 2. Hope he can develop here, was high on him when he was drafted.

    Fuck yes. Great signing on a two way deal. Was a bit afraid since there was a rumour that he was considering going back to Euroleague. It might seems as a stretch but he may fill Draymond’s role as a switchable 4/5 once he figures out his offensive role
