My b-day wish is that Dame and Nurk get traded asap for a bonafide starting C, a high defending backup 4, and a slew of draft capitol.
Let us go into training camp knowing what we have. There’s no reason we can’t become a playoff level team. Scoot has pro experience. Shae isn’t a rook, and Ant is a better CJ.
Jerami and Matisse are veterans, give us one more who can provide good locker room (Kevin Love?) presence. There needs to be other teams involved, but I would take Jaime Jaquez, Kevin Love, and their 2027 1RP from Miami and be happy (obviously getting more back from some other teams as well…. Claxton? Jarret Allen? OG?)
Kinda irrelevant but I’m not looking forward to the media finally spotlighting Dame and how impressive a player he is once he leaves Portland
