[Sylvander] The Portland Trail Blazers and Miami Heat have made some progress in the last 48-72 hours on a potential Damian Lillard trade.

Trade talks involving Miami Heat target Damian Lillard appear to be picking up again, with ESPN insider Adrian Wojnarowski saying he thinks the Portland Trail Blazers have “been in communication with a lot of teams” about facilitating a deal with the start of training camps approaching.

A multiteam deal has been thought of as the best way for the Heat to acquire Lillard from the Blazers, who do not seem to have much interest in any of the players Miami reportedly is offering, specifically Tyler Herro.

Watching Herro and Poole do depression hoops on the Wizards is gonna be an experience

Not going to say this has or hasn’t happened but anything Greg Sylvander reports is usually full of shit.

  3. Other media members: ok woj put out some news! Now lets make shit up!

This guy doesn’t have sources. Everything he has ever reported has been a guess based on reports from reporters who actually have sources. In this case, he clearly made this guess because of the Woj report about the Blazers talking to other teams about the trade

  5. Really shitty for Miami heading into camp tbh like get it done or don’t it’s gonna be weird af if lingering. Lillard and his camp are Pepegas for strong arming this too

Puppet masters are in crunch time to get this done before training camp

everyone already knew this was happening. not news

Sounds like Jaquez, O Rob, and 3 unprotected FRP’s will be the assets going back

Basically the same news we learned from Woj a few days ago. The Blazers are doing their due diligence to seek solutions in this impasse between them and the Heat. Training camp is coming up and the Blazers realistically realize that the next 10 days or so are their last best chance to make a deal happen until December/January at the earliest. There’s a deadline and they’re doing due diligence. We will see where it goes.

Sylvander has multiple times erroneously stated a deal was on the precipice and without a third team involved, he’s not a legitimate source and he didn’t break anything.

This guy has no sources and has never “reported” anything that actually happened unless previously reported by a reputable source.

Even if you hate Lillard for how he acted this offseason any nba fan worth their salt should want to see this trade go down

We’ll see whether anything comes out of this

    Otherwise it’s just rumours

How do we set notifications only to when a deal has been made? They’re milking this whole thing out

  14. As a lifelong Heat fan, don’t listen to this man. He’s not tapped in.

Ugh I was really hoping they wouldn’t get him until after the season began
