The twin cornerstones of the Memphis Grizzlies both turned 24 in the last month or so. Their respective Kobe years are off to very different starts, though. Ja Morant is peaking back out in to the light before approaching the start of the dark that is his suspension, and Jaren Jackson Jr. is getting ready for a major season as contract extension talks loom. How will their 24th trip around the Sun play out? Host Joe Mullinax discusses some possibilities and more on this episode of Locked on Grizzlies!

Another white man who continues to treat Ja Morant like a criminal just because he flexed his second amendment right to legally own a gun. Dude just said lil kids should stay away from Ja like they have no clue what guns are. If American kids and teens (they play COD and Fortnite daily which glorify gun violence) want to emulate Ja Morant and flex their second amendment right to legally own guns when the become of age that is their right as an American and if they want to be photographed holding these legally purchased firearms that is their right also. 17:30 This is the point where this white man made it clear that they have black men who they accept and black men who they will NEVER accept. The code word they use is "maturity"….they want the world to think that an aggressive black man who flexes his second amendment right to own guns isn't "mature" yet a passive black man who posses no threat at all to the white power structure IS mature yet if you talk to Jaren he comes across as some goofy teenager. 19:20 This fool said that Jaren has the world at his feet and can prove how good he is as if for three years in a row Jaren hasn't had the opportunity to show how good he is in the playoffs yet has came up way short. In his playoff career Jaren has bricked threes and been HORRIBLE on the boards just like he showed to the world last month at FIBA. Because Jaren is a passive black man which is the ONLY black man that they pretend to accept, they will continue to make excuses for him no matter what. Aggressive black men like Ja get treated like a criminal because they are viewed as a threat to the white power structure.
Good morning Joe. Great show as always. Appreciate your work. 💪
I think Z has more pressure than Jenkins.
Although I don’t agree with all of Taylor’s moves, he gets credit for 2 2nd place finishes in the West when the starting lineup played a total of 21 games together the last 2 years. What other team is doing that? Bottom line the injuries is the number 1 factor of the last 2 playoff runs; not the maturity and other things most say.
My 2 top questions are the health of Steven Adams and Z. I thought Z was on his way to a breakout season before the injury. He didn’t look healthy to me when he came back and hasn’t looked healthy in leaked clips this summer. Similar to Dillon I agree if Z doesn’t show what we need he may need a change of scenery which may result in being more productive elsewhere.
What are you talking about.why"should he not be out
