[Iguodala] The Warriors legend admits how real the Jordan Pool situation was on JJ’s podcast: “If you fall on purpose one more time to not play defense… Jordan, it looks like you’re trying not to try, do you know how much energy it takes to try to not to try? It takes less energy to try!”

  1. I can’t tell if Jordan Poole is a bad locker-room presence but I’ve certainly never seen teammates act how they do around Poole with a good locker-room presence

“Do, or do not. There is no no try.”

  3. IHateYouKids

TBH, that’ll get you punched in the face by a lot of people

Sounds like that extension was a bad idea, especially when you could have waited a year for the decision

The talk about Lou Williams after this part is hilarious, worth listening.

  6. I have lost count of how many times Luka falls down on offense for no reason so he dosent have to run back on transition lmao, elite veteran trick to take a breather.

    “He’s my brother”

Proceeds to assassinate his brother verbally

The whole Poole situation was a huge fiasco and the best result for both sides happened with the trade. Poole seemed to have have a lot of unearned arrogance and that definitely rubbed a lot of the other guys the wrong way. With that said the Warriors definitely mishandled the Draymond punch situation, although choosing Draymond over Poole as far as who to keep was definitely the correct decision.

  10. Noted great teammate and guy who totally never quits on a team Andre Iguodala lol.

i cant promise i’ll try, but i’ll try to try

All this Poole slander instead of just calling draymond out for punching his teammate

  13. He shouldn’t have gotten punched by his teammate like that, but I have a feeling he definitely earned that one. This doesn’t make sense, but I feel like somehow both are true.

Somehow the warriors are an inverse of a team culturally. Their star play is the most level headed team oriented guy and every else seems to talk shot and cause drama

Lol, the way people act like just a couple of months after being a huge part in their championship and Poole was warranted a punch while the puncher already said if you can’t handle Poole trashtalk that’s on you is so funny.

Warriors proganda is working, Dray and their FO just closed their championship window by how they handle it

I don’t want to hear shit about Poole. Nobody in any profession is going to kill themselves if they are a high performer and know they will not get promoted. Dubs were 18-2 with Poole as a starter and went 15-5 year before once he came back from Gleague and the second Klay returns he gets benched. Klay did not pick up a basketball all summer and was out of shape and Kerr still started him lol. The. He got punched and they sided with the Vet. I would have been checked out too.

its gonna be so obvious in the end the warriors made the right decision getting rid of him. no one actually cares about poole, the only people who do are faking it cuz they hate draymond.

  18. Jicama-Smart

Iggy was defending him not long ago, not sure what happened

  19. ConferenceWeekly7238

So they started to dislike him and maybe he was arrogant and talked a little shit, still didn’t deserved to get decked/sucker punched, the front office gave him that contract, whatever resentment or jealously some players on the team might of had torwards him is unwarranted

Could of been handled way more professionally/literally take him out the rotation. I think ultimately the Warriors did him dirty, they just won a championship that year too.

My only notes for Jordan was why not troll even harder?
