(Kaufman) “I have heard some whispers that they are still trying to trade him (Brogdon)…Malcolm Brogdon is maybe not being actively dangled by the Celtics, but I believe he is absolutely on the trade block.” (11:00 mark)

I can’t wait for media day to arrive and clarify this crap, this is just annoying at this point now

Lol, what is this. The best part for me is they start the podcast saying they’re the ones putting the most podcasts out there. Well, start going for quality over quantity then because this is bad.
Anyone with a little knowledge of the new CBA knows that the Celtics will be trying to trade Brogdon, Porzingis and Brown (in this order of priority) in the near future due to the cap restrictions. If he is not being actively shopped, he isn’t in trade talks. Come on now.

My guess is Brogdon isn’t at media day and then we’ll see the “official” report that the Cs and Brogdon mutually agreed to find him a new team.
He’s also the only one that we haven’t seen any photos of or anything like that lately at the facility. Saw Rob, Al, JT, JB, KP, White, Brisset, Walsh, Svi etc.

You can pay a 6th man as much as he makes anymore. If he is mad, he is being a bit of a fool. The economics are driving the move. I really hate the new CBA. It is actually going to make it more difficult to retain homegrown talent. You are already seeing guys that would have retained needing to be cut loose. This Celtics team would never have let Grant walk if it weren’t for this CBA. It is making the basketball product worse as it forces teams to basically spend the same even if it doesn’t make sense for where they are at in terms of their roster construction. You will have teams getting stuck in the middle more often. The whole thing is dumb. I am sorry, Malcolm. I hate it, too.
