The Detroit Pistons had their second run at Rico Hines. Cade Cunningham and Jaden Ivey showed how they will work together. While Marcuss Sasser couldn’t be stopped! In this video I breakdown the second Rico run, then give my thoughts.

We have the most versatile young core in the league.
There's no such thing as a "young core". Or a young peel. Or an OLD CORE.
That's HEADLINE B.S. that ONLY leads to DIVISIVENESS and CLIQUE ORIENTED THINKING.
Young VS Old. Core vs Rotational. Such thinking RUNS COUNTER to BUILDING COHESIVENESS and DEPTH.
CHAMPIONS (and their FAN BASES) find UNIFYING IDENTITIES, NOT SEPARATIST IDENTITIES.
One of the biggest keys to having a CONTENDER/DYNASTY is to have a FANBASE THAT VALUES… ALL THE PLAYERS.
"DEVELOPING" the FAN BASE is crucial. A team must somehow get the fan base to VALUE, ROOT FOR, and HYPE UP the 11th through 15th MAN.
Golden State used the "STRENGTH IN NUMBERS" Campaign.
The 2004 Pistons used the "GOING TO WORK" Campaign.
Isiah Thomas used his LESS IS MORE principle; Isiah personally did LESS during games so his teammates could do MORE, gain reps & experience, and the TEAM GAINED DEPTH.
Marcus Sasser is more like a THIRD UNIT player, which teams will need.
With FIFTEEN player Rosters, I see the 11th Man making a difference.
FIFTEEN STRONG!!
GSW EDGE?
IT'S EASIER FOR COACH STEVE KERR TO PERSUADE FANS TO SUPPORT AND APPRECIATE THE 11TH GUY… BECAUSE HE WAS THAT KIND OF PLAYER.
