He would’ve been on the table in a superstar trade, KD, Mitchell or Dame, but he was off the table for anyone else, including Harden. Don’t get it twisted, they haven’t actively been looking to get rid of him.

This is the first time there’s been actual reports of them trying to trade him. Every time there’s a big name that comes up for trade (ie kd, harden, Kyrie, Beal) or a “embiid could ask for a trade, here’s some that make sense” article he gets put in as part of the theoretical package, none of them have ever been actual attempts to trade though lol
