I think this us a very interesting video. Wemby skeptics and Rockets fans like to bring up comparison and show clips of Bol first half last season to argue that Wemby isn’t that special. This video did a good job disecting why not every super tall guy can’t be a “unicorn”

What make Wemby a better player?
– everything Bol does, Wemby can do better
– Wemby is a much better passer
– Wemby is better at understanding basketball schematics on both offensive and defensive ends
– Wemby can post up. Bol’s post moves are nonexistent
– Wemby has ultimate work ethic. Bol has ego issue with team
Before Wemby arrival, I was rooting for Bol for quite some time. He was underused with the Nuggets as they were chasing championship. He was really good early last season before Banchero came back from injury. Once the ball is off his hands, Bol didn’t do other little things to make the team win. He’s in his head that he’s KD and should get the same touches. We’ll, now he’s actually playing with KD. Hopefully this will enlighten him on how far apart they are.

The things listed in this are what Bol Bol could do in college. The nba is very different. This past season was really his first full year and he’s a bad shooter and defender. The two things we thought he’d be able to do coming out of college.
