Adam joins Gavin Schall from Locked On Knicks to talk Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Cam Thomas and all the the New York chatter around Brooklyn and New York.
While The Knicks have the goal of a deep playoff run, Gavin notes that much of their success is dependent on the growth of RJ Barrett and the expansion of Quintin Grimes game. It strikes a similar chord in Brooklyn where what Cam Thomas’ role ultimately becomes will have a massive offensive impact on the Nets season.
Of course the touch on Ben Simmons, Julius Randle who, for different reasons, are veterans that need to assert their role and value, and why in both cities being prepared for an additional superstar remains at the forefront of the long-term decision making. Last but not least the all important season series and if thee tide has turned to the favor of the blue and orange.

Love both teams, don't ask me to pick just one. I just worry about Randle and the coaching for the Knicks. For the Nets, if Ben10 tanks this season, they'd be farther behind than expected.
Ben Simmons is a game changer if healthy even without a shot
After today's press conference it's great to find out Ben Simmons 100 percent ready to go this season and has no restrictions playing five on five.
More importantly it's good that coach Vaughn made an agreement to give Ben Simmons the starting point guard role only if he's willing to play at a consistent high level. Ben truly has to show he can maintain that point guard role or Coach Vaughn will pivot if he has to….
This new core has a great future to not only revitalize the culture but build a legitimate championship culture as well…
Before i play one second of this podcast, the answer to the question is an absolute NO!
The knicks can make the Finals! I'll be surprised if we clear the Play-IN Tournament
If Ben is healthy which I believe he is after that press conference, we will be the better team
