Portland and Dame fan here that wanted to see him in miami. I AM MFNNNN ECSTATICCC. Pat riley wanted to play games and lowball and Cronin wasnt having it. Dame is in a better position and the blazers are both better than they would’ve been with herro if they kept jrue and they can get more for jrue than they ever could’ve for herro. Pat riley 100% dropped the ball.

Portland fan here. I guess we'll see what Portland gets for Holiday, but I think he's got more value on the trade market than Herro. Holiday is a defensive-minded guard with a pretty short contract and is in a better position to help a good team than Herro is IMO.
I'm not ecstatic about the trade, but I knew we weren't going to get a massive haul and I'm waiting to see what we get for Holiday. I'm most disappointed the Blazers couldn't get Barnes for Lillard.

Bucks have a brand new coach who never been a head coach before they are much weaker in the back court how are they the favorites in the east? Giannis still can shoot free throws and thry will choke again in playoffs

Jrue arguably more valuable. Herro may have limited value despite his youth. Blazers have a really similar guy in Simons they'd like to move but probably overpaid. Jrue will for sure have value to a contender. I hear Miami is in the market for a PG

You’re overvaluing Herro and 2 first round. Around the League, Herro is a mid tier player. And those two first rounds will likely be later round first rounds. Whereas those future picks and swaps into the distance future in a small market will likely be high drafts.

I disagree, Jrue Holiday even at his age has more trade value than Herro but more so, those picks in 2028,2029,2030 are probably going to be better picks than Miami in those years. Miami is a large market team or at least, a very desirable location. By 2028, Dame will be 38, Blazers are betting by 2028 or 2029 that the Bucks era will be over and being they're a small market team, will probably have higher draft picks compared to the more desirable/popular Miami team.
It’s ridiculous assuming that the Heat definitely could have gotten the Blazers DeAndre Ayton in a deal. We don’t even know if the Heat had anybody Phoenix wanted.
