> Miami has so far shown limited interest in James Harden as a Lillard consolation prize, but what about Holiday? As Brian Windhorst notes, expect Holiday and the Blazers to have a range of trade options –perhaps including Miami, Philadelphia, the LA Clippers, and others. (Two under-the-radar teams that could make good Holiday fits and are expected to have at least some level of interest, sources said: the Indiana Pacers and New York Knicks. The Pacers may determine in the end that the price is too high, and that it’s too soon to flip future assets for veterans.)

All your Holidays belong to us.
I’d love to get him. Hield/theis and a pick would make sense to me. Guy is a all star veteran that provides leadership and intensity on defense. Having him and Bruce brown together would be some serious defense on the wing. Hali is great at playing passing lanes and being a risk taker on defense, I think a line up of Hali, Holiday, Brown, Obi, and Turner would be fun. Mathurin ad the 6th man microwave scorer role suits him well, but we may wind up starting him with Bruce off the bench.
Have the Blazers heard of WORLD CHAMPION Daniel Theis? No world champions on these other teams are available for trade.
Pacers have demonstrated a lot of interest in him in the past, so not surprised to see their name attached to him, but like many others, I question if it’s too late given the timeline of the current team.
Would this complete the ‘09 draft class point guard bingo card?
Maybe in years past. But we aren’t at Finals contention, and picking him up does us a short-term gain for a long-term problem. If we were in a different spot sure
Don’t dump our assets before we are even contending.
Save them for a trade that puts us over the top.
