KD is a big boy and can make his own decisions. He got two chips and Finals MVPs albeit with a ton of side eye. Maybe he comes to Boston and wins right away and brings us 1-3 rings and becomes a local god or maybe he flames out and can’t handle the media and fan intensity and never wins…
I can say the KD post 2018 probably couldn’t handle Boston and it’s fanbase. Now maybe that never happens if he comes here but he got real salty when he wasn’t given what he thought was his proper dap for winning his first title.

Durant is his own man he chose his path in life and the Celtics moved past it.
Would I have liked Durant on our team? Absolutely but it wouldn’t have guaranteed a ring either. Although I will say we could’ve still potentially drafted tatum so a potential lineup of IT – Brown – Tatum – Durant – Horford could’ve been a thing
